The Property
The nursery consists of two sections, developed and undeveloped. In the front section you'll find extensive display gardens, a lawn for picnics and relaxing, a pond, 10 greenhouses, 2 large sales yards, a shade area, a parking area, and our rustic sales hut.
In the back section you'll find white pine/red maple woods, and wetland. The natural area offers several benefits: a buffer from other parcels; wildlife habitat; a backdrop ideally suited for birdwatching and enjoyment of the natural character of the land; and an environment in which to observe many species of plants in their own habitat.

Directions
From the Ithaca/Cortland area
Take the North Triphammer Road exit off Route 13. Follow North Triphammer north, toward Lansing, for 5 miles. You will see a blinking red light at a 4-way stop intersection. TURN RIGHT here, onto 34B heading east. Then go 2 miles and the nursery is on your LEFT.
For those of you coming from outside the Ithaca area:
From Syracuse
Take I-81 south and exit at Route 13/Ithaca. Follow Route 13 towards Ithaca (south and west) for about 10 minutes. You will pass through the town of Dryden (Route 13 turns right at a light in downtown Dryden—stay on 13). From Dryden it’s another 10 minutes until you see signs for North Triphammer Rd. Take this exit and turn right at the top of the ramp. Follow North Triphammer north, toward Lansing, for 5 miles. You will come to a blinking red light at a 4-way stop intersection. TURN RIGHT here, onto 34B heading east. This is the only tricky part of the directions so make sure you TURN RIGHT at the blinking red light onto 34B.
Then go 2 miles and the nursery is on your LEFT.
*Short cut: I-81 south, take the first Cortland exit (Exit 12), follow the ramp right, and then turn left at the traffic light into 281 heading towards Cortland and Ithaca. Follow 281 thru a series of intersections (cross Rte. 222 but continue on 281). At McLean Rd., turn right. Follow this for about 5 miles into the small village of McLean; at the 3-way stop T intersection, turn right. This is Peruville Rd. and also called 34B. Follow Peruville Rd. for about 4 miles; come to a blinking red light; stop and go thru this intersection up the big hill. After about 3 miles look for the nursery on your right. Pass Brown Rd. and then Cobb St.; we are a few driveways past Cobb St. on the right.
From Rochester
Take either 414 and 318, or 89, down towards routes 5 and 20. These will take you around the top of Cayuga Lake and down the east shore. Then take 90 which travels south and connects with 34B. Follow 34B into Lansing, and continue straight through the first red light at Rogue's Harbor Inn. Continue another 1/2 mile and you will come to a blinking red light--head straight for the blinking red light even though the main road curves left. After stopping at the blinker, go straight 2 miles and the nursery is on your left.
From Binghamton
Take I-81 North to the Marathon Exit (Exit 9, Route 221). Take Route 221 west for about 15 minutes. You will come to Route 38 in the town of Harford. Turn right. Travel about 5 minutes to the town of Dryden. At the light in downtown Dryden, turn left onto Route 13.
