Delicate-looking but unkillable, Culver's root lives in your garden's vertical dimension with substantial white wands in summer.  Leaves are a bit felty and whorled.  Having adapted to the rigors of prairie life, these plants will handle just about anything, including wet or dry clay, northern winters, full sun exposure and moderate drought, and any regime of cutting, shearing or trimming.  Also adaptable to light shade.  Can be totally neglected or worked into the most formal and elegant landscape.
